Nowadays, getting into a university means a student has already taken a step into the society where they have to confront many choices. Whether they should do part time jobs is among them. The choices vary from one student to another: some students think that it may affect their studies since doing part time jobs will cost them a lot of time and energy and some of them may get cheated in finding the jobs. However I firmly believe that college students should do part time jobs and it will bring them more than they can imagine.
Firstly, being a college student, to some extent, just means being a freshman in this society. College students not only have to learn the knowledge in school, but also have to gradually adapt themselves into the society. That is, apart from attending classes, they need to practice themselves enough to see the true fact of their society a society full of competition. In this way, taking part time jobs becomes an invisible task for college students which they can choose to practice themselves and get some working experience. Only in this way can they better get involved into the society.
Secondly, to most of the college students, a majority of their free time is wasted in endless and meaningless chatting. Whats worse, some students even put all their free time in computer games. To be honest, we cannot expect college life to be full of excitement every moment. But instead of wasting time doing some meaningless things, doing part time jobs obviously becomes a much better choice not only because it can fully use their free time, but also it can broaden the social communication circle which is of great importance for future development.
Last but not least, as we all know, the expense in the university is just like a bottomless pit. Most parents have to work day and night to support their kids. Whats more, in order to make their children live better in the university, some parents from the countryside even sell their fields. Thus, as college students, they should make full use of our free time to earn some money to share their parents burden. Meanwhile, through doing part time jobs, they can practice their spirit of hardworking and persistence.
All in all, by doing part time jobs, college students can get the precious working experience and broad their social communication circle which can flat their future road. At the same time, it can comfort their parents heart because these students become mature in their parents mind. Therefore, doing part time jobs is a good choice for college students, and they should give it a try.
